Professionally, I am a reporter and editor, currently accepting freelance requests. I retired from the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette in January 2020 after 12 1/2 years as the newspaper’s principal investigations editor. I have worked at other newspapers in Memphis, Baton Rouge, Donaldsonville and Houma, La.
